No way! Is that your puppy?! Did you actually commit to getting one?! It's sooo cute! I want to see it so much!

Yes and Yes. We will be picking her up on Friday night so you can come and see her sometime this weekend.

Oh, my gosh. I can't stop looking at the picture. She is so cute. I will definitely be coming over this weekend to meet her. Congrats, guys!

Hey Andy... remember what we were talking about earlier about going out of town and everything? Make sure the puppy acts real good when Mel comes to visit this weekend :). I believe you have already named the puppy, but you know my vote is for Gertie (short for y*g***), but I like the other name too.

Ha! Only problem with Mel babysitting is that her old grumpy dog Bailey would probably try to kill our puppy. We'll just have Sammy come down to babysit when we leave town. That way he can overcome his fear of Wheat Thins.

I think you should name it "Cereal". Then, after Mel's neglect results in the puppy's untimely death, she'll be a "Cereal Killer".

how 'bout you name it Libby?! wouldn't be the first dog with my name i ever met.... (should i be sad about that?)

Her name is Lucy. She is a lot of fun.

Lucy is adorable. Does this mean we have 13 grandchildren now? Oh, if we count Lucy, we have to count Simon and Jesse. That makes 15! What does Lucy want for Christmas?

Just your respect.

If Grandma is going to start counting animals as grandchildren (which I'm sure she regrets already), she needs to remember Ben & Nicole's 2, AND Mei Mei, plus our Lily... and are we counting cats too??? :). Just kidding!
